ResNexus' New Features 2020

Just a few things we did in 2019:

Generation 6:

• Ability to type in guest reservation numbers and contact information and search them
• Added a favorites section
• Setting up gift certificates changed and delivery method has been updated
• Classes are set up in your system. Before, you had to go to a specific room and then go into classes to view classes.
• Amenities now have rooms listed with those amenities

Marketing builder: Marketing builder has been revamped. More intuitive. Easy to keep track of emails you've sent, and we have a template creation process. Can create newsletters and emails conveniently. Can also create your own designs.

Support articles: Can access support articles on the page the article applies to. Still working on making more.

Door locks: Automate with ResNexus door locks. ResNexus has Wi-Fi door locks that don't require additional equipment. Eliminates the hassle for you with check-ins and check-outs. People can easily check their code via email. No longer need a front desk person late at night with the door code.

QuickBooks online export: We created a journal entry report to allow those who are using other accounting software to easily get the information they need from the system.

New reports: We added two other new reports to our system this year: Log-in history and Credit card payments.

New ADA tools:

• Website ADA tool
• Accessibility widget
• ADA room
• Compliance statement

Common website issues to fix:

• Alternate text for images
• Empty text field
• Color contrast

Fraud protection: We are always trying to keep you and your customers safe in our system. So we added additional fraud protection that prevents guests from booking if they've attempted five or more times. When this limit is hit, the guest sees a message that says, "Please contact us for assistance." You can also choose to set up a two-factor authentication for whoever is trying to log into your account.

Updates to taxes and fees:

• Auto tax exemption
• Inclusive taxes
• Fees

Customizable email subject: You can customize your email subject for confirmation emails instead of having the default line.

Expiring room blocks: When you create a room block on the grid, you have the option to set up a release time for that block. This can be used if someone called in and wanted you to hold a room for them. You can set up a limit for that room and release that room if they haven't converted to a reservation by that time.
