1. Website
2. Booking engine appearance (pictures, description)
3. Upselling


Let's jump into the first area.

Things to look for on your website

  • Do you have clear branding?
  • Are you telling your story?
  • Do you have a "Things to Do" page?
  • Do you have crisp, clear photos?
  • Are you showing the customer what is in your area?


Things to look for on your booking engine

  • Does the appearance look like your website?
  • Do your colors match?
  • Do you have crisp, clear photos?
  • How many photos do you have for each room?
  • Are your photos landscape or portrait?
  • Do you have room descriptions?

Retail Items

  • What things set your area apart?
  • What can people only get in your town or state?
  • Why do people come and stay with you?
  • What can you offer to set your business apart from others in the area?
  • Is a fee considered a retail item? Should it be shown on the booking engine?


Side bars are a great way to show off your retail items as well as information or directions.
