How do I add a retail item?Log onto Reservation Nexus -> Reservations -> Search. Enter the guest's phone number, name or information number. Reservations in RED were cancelled. Click on the guest's reservation number highlighted in blue to pull up the guest's reservation information and other details. Or if you already know which dates the guest is staying you can click on the guest's reservation on the 3 month calendar.  Click on the blue Retail tab on the right side of the page. This will open the RETAIL page. On this page you can manage existing retail items or add a new one. To add a new retail item click  Choose a retail item from the list on this page by selecting the quantity on the drop down box next to the desired retail item. Enter in the name or the bar code in the search box at the top of the page to find a specific retail item. Retail items can be grouped together. You can view one of these groups and save time searching for a retail item by clicking on the group name found under the search bar.
Once you have selected the retail items to add to the guest's reservation, fill out the information at the bottom of the page. Notice that you can adjust the price and override the quantity. Click the "Email Vendor" box to send out a notice to the vendor of the retail item being purchased. You can adjust the "Delivery Date" so that the retail item will arrive before the guest's arrival date or sometime during their stay. Need to add a new retail item?
