How do I make a payment?

Once you log into Reservation Nexus go to Reservations -> Front Desk. The Front Desk page is divided into three groups: New Arrivals, Staying Over, and Departures. New Arrivals are displayed by the estimated arrival time. Staying Over and Departures are displayed by guest names.

Click on the blue Pay Now link of the guest you want to make a payment on and the ADD PAYMENT page will pull up.

Notice that on this page there are two types of information. The first displays method of payment, amount of payment, date and the person who made the payment as well as approval code and gift certificate number. The second part of information on the ADD PAYMENT page displays the guest's Reservation Information including the guest's contact information, dates the guest if staying, taxes applied, and the sub-total due minus any automatic deposits you collected at time the reservation was made.

At the bottom of the ADD PAYMENT page under Details, the amount that is Due: is what the guest has left to pay for their reservation. The amount due should be the same as Amount: $ at the top of the page. Click "add" when you are finished and then click "Save" on the following page.
