Daily Finances Report - A Reservation Nexus Innovation

The daily finances report was released to the Auto Pilot edition of Reservation Nexus in 2009 as part of over 50 powerful reports. The daily finances report combines a lot of the reports into one so that innkeepers can see what was collected and what was actually the balance for the day. Innkeepers can select any given date and see a balance sheet of what was consumed as well as payments collected during the selected date range. Purchases are broken up by room reservations, specials and packages, retail, gift certificates, unassigned discounts and taxes.

Payments are divided up by form of payment taken whether it be by credit card, check, cash, gift certificate or even a refund.

1. Select a date range
2. Then click "Update" to see payments collected and payments received.
3. If all payments are properly recorded and collected, the totals for purchases and deposits should match.
4. Click on "View Outstanding Balances" to see reservation items that still need to be collected on.
