Reservation Nexus restructures its pricingFebruary 9, 2010 -- Over the last few years several Auto Pilot features like seamless credit card processing, calendar view, third party scripts, reservation sources, and much more have been moved from Auto Pilot to Classic. Added value from Auto Pilot has been moved to Classic over time and by lowering the price of Auto Pilot, more inns can enjoy the benefits of automating their bed and breakfast, inn or hotel. All clients presently subscribing or trying out ResNexus as of February 9, 2010, who subscribe or will be subscribing to Classic only, are automatically grandfathered into the previous pricing structure. In addition, there is no net change for those subscribing to both Classic and Auto Pilot and the pricing changes will be made to their accounts accordingly but results in no net pricing increase or decrease. With Two-Way True Seamless GDS TM and QuickBooks Integration coming soon the question that was asked internally at ResNexus was, "Do inns need to subscribe to Auto Pilot in order to get GDS and/or QuickBooks integration?" With the new pricing restructure the answer is no, however, any grandfathered Classic only subscriber will need to move to the new pricing structure in order to subscribe to GDS and/or QuickBooks integration. ResNexus wants Auto Pilot to continue to be its own product line with the main focus on technologies and innovations that automate an inn's or hotel's processes such as seamless automated e-mail marketing, auto-bill house accounts, seamless gift certificate engine, integrated specials and packages, etc. This pricing restructure allows more and more non-automation features and innovations, while they may start in Auto Pilot, to be moved into Classic over time. |
